Izzy is a dancing queen!

Izabella had her Christmas performance a few weeks ago. This one is just for the parents to come and watch to see what they have learned so far this year (their big recital is in May where everyone can come and watch.) Izzy loved being in dance and she loves that she gets to take it with her cousin Macie!

A visit with Santa? Maybe not......

For the Childs family Christmas party we have a special visitor every year. Ezra wasn't down with sitting on Santa's lap (as you can tell)He did much better with Daddy holding him. Izabella loves Santa but she does NOT like sitting on his lap either! As we were walking towards him she started yelling no you have to sit on his lap not me! Needless to say they didnt tell Santa what they wanted, oh well maybe next year!

Izabella woke up on her birthday to a room full of presents and balloons! What more could a 3 year old ask for? We ordered her favorite Dora birthday cake and I think this little girl LOVED all the attention she got on her special day!

I cannot believe that Izabella is already turning 3! She is such a fun little girl who can always bring a smile to your face!Yesterday we spent the day playing all day long! We started off in the morning going to a Christmas brunch that she wanted to go to with Grandma and Grandpa Lepak. Than we took her to get her nails and toe nails painted! I have NEVER seen her so happy! She smiled the WHOLE time! It was so fun to watch. Than we were off to Target so she could pick out a toy from the money that Great Grandpa Lepak sent her, than it was lunch and off to jump on it for a little fun with some of her cousins! We are going to see the Princes and the frog but decided that we should do that next weekend.
Today will be filled with presents and yummy cake and ice cream with the family!

Happy Birthday Ezra!

My sweet baby turns 1 today! I can't believe where the time has gone! Here are a few pictures of this past year with him! We love you so much Ezra and are so glad that you are apart of our family!

My little baby turns 1 in a few weeks so I had my sister in law take some cute pictures of him so we could get an invitation made for his party! Mommy wow.....

Mommy wow.... I'm a big kid now!!! Ezra got too big for his carseat oh about 2 months ago and we still hadn't gotten around to getting him a new one. Grandma Lepak saw how small it was for him the other day and went out and bought him a new one! Thanks mom! I was just being lazy and didnt want to switch him to a new one because that meant that my little guy was growing up :( He was so stinking happy and loved it the second we put him in it! So with 2 big carseats in the back I think that our next purchase should be an SUV! :)

My sweet Ezra

Ezra just turned 9 months and we had his dr appointment today! He is growing like a weed! He now weighs 22.5 pds (which I think they weighed him wrong because he feels A LOT heavier than that! ) I just can't believe that it is time to change him now to a big kid car seat! Where has the time gone? Ezra is so much fun to have around! He is so chilled and has the biggest sweetest smile & he just makes you happy! I freaking love this kid!

Here we are @ the finish line. It is kind of random because they bus you up the canyon and you have this beautiful run & than you round the corner towards the finish and you are in a neighborhood. Oh well still good times!

Bryce Canyon

Last weekend we went to Bryce Canyon. We were there to run in the half marathon & hang out with some fun friends. I ran it in 1hr and 39 minutes(personal best) and Ammon ran it in 1hr and 45 minutes (he has now run only 2 races, a full marathon and now a half- pretty amazing). It was a beautiful run and the only run in the United States that runs through a National Park, pretty cool huh? I didn't get any pictures from the run, we had to wake up at 3:30am to get there on time so I wasn't really thinking about anything at that time :)
Jason, Josh, Rick, Laura & Jim all ran in the half with us and Kristy ran a 5k and she took 2nd. Go Kristy!
After our race we came home and made a yummy brunch and took showers and naps. After that we were waiting for it to cool down outside so we could go hiking so we played poker and a few other games. We than hiked 3 miles in to this beautiful water fall! It was such an amazing hike and so pretty!

Great weekend with lots of fun, games, and laughter! It was the first time I had been away from my kids but they had tons of fun @ Grandma & Grandpa Lepak's house, infact Izabella keeps asking when she gets to go back! It's true they spoil kids much more than mommy and daddy! Thanks mom and dad for watching them!

We had so much fun that we decided to make it a yearly event and I can't wait until next time!

Smores Galore

Tuesday night we went up to Mill Creek Canyon for dinner and some yummy smores! We had a great time and the scenery was absolutely breath taking! I had gotten pretty sick of all the rain we were getting but I am so thankful for it because everything is just so green and beautiful!
