Go Jazz Go

We are really exited that it is Basketball season! One of our favorite things to do as a family is go up to the Jazz games so we went to a Jazz pregame this past week so I could get in at least one before Ezra comes. I only got one pic before my camera died -bummer!

Trunk or Treat

Our ward had a Trunk or Treat this last weekend. Izabella was so exited to be able to wear her Halloween Costume AGAIN! She has really gotten great use out of it! The other day she wanted me to put it on her so she could wear it around the house!

She is really starting to get the hang of Halloween and LOVING all the candy she has gotten so far. Every morning she wakes up and the first thing that comes out of her mouth is "I want a sucker! " The instant that we got home from the ward party she sat down and just started ripping into her candy and eating as much as she could before we noticed what she was doing - smart little cookie!

Scarecrow Festival

We have been really enjoying this fall this year; such nice weather & lots of fun things to go and do! We went to the scarecrow festival down at Thanksgiving point. They had a great area set up for kids 4 and under and Izabella enjoyed her freedom to run and play and pretty much do whatever she wanted!

Family Party

Since my parents moved here this past summer we decided that we needed to start having an annual Halloween Family Party. My brother in law Jeff had a great idea of getting a bunch of hay and putting it in the back of my Dad's trailor and having the kids dressed up in their Halloween costume to have their own personal Hay Ride! They loved it!! We also got bags of candy to throw out to the kids playing in the neighborhood. The other kids saw how much fun we were having so a bunch jumped on board and had a blast with us!

Here is cousin Brookelynn and Izabella At first Izzy wasn't quite sure what to do and wasn't too sure about her costume. She got used to it and when it was time to change she wasn't too happy!

Sugar Cookies

So I thought that it would be fun if I made sugar cookies and let the kids decorate them all by themselves! They had a blast and let me tell you they made a MESS! But it was sooo worth it watching how much fun they were having! Izzy is a little stunned here that she was able to get dirty!

Here is Izzy's cookie! She did is all by herself! I was pretty impressed and even more impressed that she got frosting on the cookie because she was pretty much licking her knive the whole time!

Rock N Roll!

Ok I just did a crazy thing I think; I just signed Ammon and I up for the San Diego Rock N Roll marathon! Yup that is right we are going to start torturing ourselves on purpose starting in Janurary! I am really exited that Ammon said that he would do this with me! We both decided - heck we are turning 30 and this will be a great goal/accomplishment for us so why not? My sister and her husband are going to be doing this run with us as well. We have recruited a few other people to run with us and I really hope that they do! I am exited this run has bands playing the whole 26+ miles that we run. How fun will that be? So we are going to make a vacation out of it and go to the San Diego Zoo and than down to Disneyland (which I am soooo stoked about!) So if anyone wants to come and play with us - DO! We wont make you be as crazy and run 24 miles just to hang out with us though! :) So starting in Janurary I am going to need your support and encouragment!

TAG - Lets just see how QUIRKY I am...Tell us about 5 unspectacular quirks of yours:

Quirk #1 I can NEVER leave dishes in the sink or on the counter! I drive Ammon nuts because he will get out a glass for a drink and than leave it on the counter to come back to get more and I am ALWAYS putting it in the dishwasher.

Quirk #2 I have to triple check everynight that the doors are locked before we got to bed!

Quirk #3 I am with Becky - I always have to have my doors locked when I am in the car also. I just feel so much safer for some reason.

Quirk #4 I cannot go to bed with the house a mess. All toys have to be picked up and everything put back in its place.

Quirk #5 I have to sleep with one leg out of the sheets and hanging off the bed! I just cant fall asleep any other way!
