Go Cougars!

Yesterday was the first game of the season for BYU. My family got season tickets this year so we will be at all the home games and are really exited about going. We had so much fun the only down fall was how stinkin hot it was!! Yes - we even got all decked out in BYU shirts.

Izzy enjoyed the music from the band and had to have her space so she could dance around. By the end of the game she was throwing her hands in the air and yelling "Touchdown!"I think that she loved the cotton candy the most that day though! You think that she shared any with me? HECK NO!! I just have to remember to buy two next game I guess.

My dancing queen!

Izzy started her first day of dance and she looked sooo stinking cute in her little outfit. I love that she has little ballet slippers in her size! I had fun getting her dressed today for class. She goes once a week for a half hour and I think that she is going to just love it once she gets the hang of it!Izzy and her counsin Kylie are in the same class together. It is nice for Izzy to have a familiar face in there.
Alright so she got a little scared in there and of course I had to capture the moment of what the first day was really like!
Her teacher Mrs. K. was awesome - she had a bunch of fun props for the little kids to play with to get them exited about coming to class.
In the end; Izzy ended up warming up to the class and really enjoyed it & didnt want to leave when it was time to go!

A day at the Fair

We spent the day at the fair down in Spanish Fork. It was so much fun and the kids loved it! We love to people watch so it was quite entertaining if you know what I mean!!! :)

So if we were farmers we would so have this pink tractor!! I just loved that it was pink!

Izzy loved the animals so much that she squeezed in between the fence and went in and started to play with them! The worker there was really sweet and let her stay in there and play with the animals. Last but not least she got to ride the Merry go Round once again!!

Night out with the Girls!!!

My Mom and my sisters had a night out without kids and husbands! Who could ask for more? :) (Just kidding love you babe!) We went to the Martina McBride concert and had A BLAST!! We had awesome seats thanks to my brother in laws military discount and it was a perfect night to be outside! I love going to concerts - they are just so much fun!

Family Pics

Last week we went and got our family pics taken by our good friend Shelly. I didn't want to be in them being 6 1/2 months prego and all but Shelly is moving in a few months so I wanted to jump on the opportunity to have her take them before she was gone and I was even bigger. Doesn't she do an amazing job?! Here are a few of our faves.

I DID IT!!!!!!

Ok I know that I am crazy and when people ask why run I just reply why not? Well here I am 6 months prego and my favorite half marathon is coming up and I think - why not? I can do it! So I sign up with my sister and we hit the pavement! So I am running thinking yeah this isnt too bad and I am keeping a pretty good pace until mile 8 when I freaking start having braxton hicks! OUCH!! So I have to walk about a half of a mile - than I start jogging -so that is how I had to finish the race - jog/walk. I just kept telling myself that I needed to listen to my body and not over do it! My sister Jessica did awesome! After she finished she grabbed Izzy and met me near the finish line and ran with Izzy across the line with me! She started cheering GO MOMMY GO! That caught on rather quickly and all the people there started chanting with her as I crossed the line! Yeah made me cry!! I did the half marathon is 2 hrs and 4 mins. Not too bad for being a fat prego women wouldnt you think? I had so much fun and cant wait until next year when I am not prego and can run it belly free!!!!

A day at the Zoo

We spend the day at the Zoo for Addi's birthday! It was a perfect day - not a 105' like the last time we went! The girls had so much fun and the animals were awake and playing the whole time! It was a blast! Izzy would have sat on the tiger all day long if I would have let her.
She chased the peacock everywhere and was so sad when she couldn't catch it!
FINALLY she got to ride the Merry go round and was sooo HAPPY!! She spotted it when we first got there and was super sad when I took her away and told her that we would have to wait to ride it until later! When I was buying the tickets she was bouncing up and down smiling the whole time!

Swimming with Daddy!

FINALLY Daddy was able to take Izzy swimming this summer! She had soo much fun with him! Daddys are always so much cooler to go swimming with since they actually swim with the kids and dont just sit there on the step like mommy does! SOOO who does Izzy look like?? Mommy or Daddy?

Bobbin Bellies

So being pregnant isn't always that fun but when you have someone to complain to about everything and they know exactly what you are going thru it helps to ease the pain just a little bit! All I can say is Becky and I are counting down the days!!!

The Childs boy started up an annual father and sons outing this past weekend - which is really nice because that means that the girls get to have a girls weekend full of fun and of course LOTS of eating out while the guys were gone!! True I have a daughter so she was home with me but heck that is what sitters are for right??? The guys enjoyed their time roughing it in the mountains and cooking their own food while I enjoyed my air conditioned house and food brought to me after I ordered it. Who could ask for more?
