Today is the day! We hit the pavement and officially started training for our marathon! A family that runs together stays together! :)

SURPRISE 30th!!!

I am exited to annouce that I pulled it off!! I have been planning Ammon's surprise birthday party for quite awhile and I didn't think that I was going to be able to get away with it and with a big smile on my face I am able to say I succeeded in the mission! Ammon's birthday isn't until Friday the 23rd but to throw him off I had it a week early! He had no clue and was completely caught off guard. This is the year of turnng 30 so I wanted to make it a memorable one for him! Happy early Birthday babe! I need to get better at taking more pictures though!

Ezra's blessing day

Sunday we blessed Ezra and what a special day it was! It was great to have so many friends and family come to support us and our new little baby. I am such a slacker and these are the only pictures that I captured the whole day! I am just kicking myself! Ezra looked so adorable! There is nothing more angelic than seeing your little one dressed in all white! Ezra's cousin Tyler wore this on his blessing day - thanks Ty Ty for letting us borrow your cute outfit.


We couldnt get Izzy to smile here because her cousins were playing on the ground and she wanted to be down playing with them and we were rushing to get to church on time so this picture will have to do.

2 months already!

Ezra turned 2 months on Saturday so we had his check up today. He already weighs 13.43 pds and is in the 85% for weight and is 23.5 inches in height and that puts him in the 70% tile. I can't believe how big he has gotten in only 2 months! It makes me so sad to put an outfit on him to find out that it is too small! Last night I put him in his going home outfit from the hospital (which drowned him than) and now it's too short! I hate that they get big so fast!! However, I do love that he smiles and coos and caas all the time now! It seriously is the best noise to have in the house!!

Yes, I need to get him a haircut, he has a serious mullet going on in the back!

Black and Gold Party

This new years eve we had a blast! We started off the night at my parents house where we ate King Crab and lots of yummy food. Than Ammon and I got ready and took off with our friends the Strains and the Taylors and we went to a black and gold party that they threw! It was so much fun and we danced our little hearts out! They had it at Highland Nursery where they hold wedding receptions - it was so beautiful in there! Thanks guys for a great evening! Than back to parenthood and reality, we spent the night at my parents house with the rest of my family and woke up to eat eat eat and than eat some more! It was a great day of relaxing, playing games, and enjoying each others company!

Here is to 2009! I hope that it is going to be a great year!!
