Baby food......maybe not!

I tried feeding Ezra some baby food. I started off with bannanas thinking those wouldn't be too disgusting. He wasnt sure what to think at first......" Ok, what are you feeding me?"

"Ok, it's a little different but it taste good and maybe I can get used to it!"

"Yeah, this is pretty yummy!"

"Nah, I will just stick to eating my hand instead!"

Wash me mommy!

Yesterday I was downstairs making dinner and all of a sudden I could hear Izzy crying so I ran upstairs to see what had happened. I couldn't find her and than I realized that the laundry room door was shut and it sounded like she was in there. When I opened the door this is what I found! I just had to take a picture, which made her even madder because she wanted to get out. I couldnt stop laughing! She just kept saying, "I stuck, I stuck!" I was impressed with her climbing skills because we have the drawers under the washer/dryer which makes them pretty tall. I guess when she wants to do something she doesn't let anything get in her way!

4 months and growing!

Today we had Ezra's 4month check up. He now weighs over 16 pds and is 25 1/2 inches long! I love taking him to his appointments to see how much he has grown. When I got home I pulled out Izzy's journal because I thought for sure that he was bigger than she was at her 4month but I was wrong! Izzy weighed more! She was over 17pds at her check up. So below I have included pictures of her when she was around the same age!

Love this kid!

I can't believe that Ezra is already 4 months old! He is such a happy and fun little baby! He has his 4 month check up on Monday so I will have to post his stats after his appointment. I can't wait to see how much he has grown in the last 2 months! I am sure that it is a lot because his carseat is getting HEAVY to hold! :-)

What a weekend!

This weekend was a lot of fun for our family! Friday we were able to go thru the Draper Temple, sadly I did not get any pictures from that day! It was such an awesome experience to be inside the temple with the whole family, including the kids! I am so glad we were able to experience that together!

Saturday we went to Monster Trucks! Other than the LOUD noise it was a lot of fun! The only other downfall was

Ammon wasn't able to join us because he had to work and we really missed him.

The man who drove this truck was in a wheel chair and I was just amazed that he didnt let that stop him from doing something that he loved!


Izzy was so into it! She would hang over the rail so she could see the trucks below and would clap and holler. She just knew that she needed to cover her ears when they started reving their engines because of the noise level.

I bought her this flag and she loved waiving it all around!

My husband rocks!

I haven't been feeling too well since Thursday. Thursday thru Saturday I woke up every morning with a slight fever, I would just take some tylenol and be just fine, well Saturday/Sunday night I woke up and I seriously thought a train just ran over me and I felt like, no other words to describe it but I felt like CRAP!! As you know mommies dont get a sick day but let me tell you just how much my husband rocks!In the middle of the night I would want a glass of water and I would wake Ammon up to go and get it for me! I was able to sleep ALL day on Sunday and never got out of bed, he put both the kids down for a nap right before he went to church so I didnt have to worry about them, he did the laundry, dishes, fed the kids, bathed them, everything that needed to be done he did it! Monday rolls around and he had to go to work, he came home to a DISASTRIOUS house! He even said, "This house is a mess!" I was thinking oh you better not go there I still feel awful, but what he did instead was tell Izzy to pick up her toys while he did the dishes so Mommy didnt have to! Love the man! Monday night I just wasnt getting any better so we went to the ER because Insta Care had already closed and he wrestled with both the kids for about 2 1/2 hours while they ran a bunch of different test. Turns out I have severe strep throat and I had to get a shot in the bum bum! OWWWIIIEE! But I just wanted everyone to know how much I love my husband for taking care of everything for me so I could get my rest! You rock Ammon and I love you!!!

Mommy I am jumping!!

We went to Jump on It for our nephew Tyler's birthday and Izzy was in heaven! She LOVES to jump! I think that I should invest in a little trampoline for her to have, she would have such a hayday with it! The whole time she would look at me and say, "Mommy Mommy I jumpin!" She had a smile the whole time!
Ammon even got in on a little air time too!
Of course Izzy had to ride the little merry go round. I think we spend $5 for her to go around and around and than around again! :-)

It wouldn't be an event without a picture of Alli and Ezra now would it!
