Wasatch Back

I had the best time this last weekend with the ladys! We ran in the wasatch back relay which is 188 miles from Logan to Park City. Our team consisted of 12 members, 6 guys and 6 gals. The guys were in the 1st van and we were in the 2nd. I had a blast and I have never been challenged so physically and mentally before in my life! It was a great feeling of accomplishment and I am so glad that I was able to participate in this event!
On our way up to the race.
Here is a picture of our whole team minus one (he was out running).
After our 1st leg it was around midnight so we stopped @ a lodge to change out of our sweaty clothes and tried to get some shut eye before our next leg (that didnt happen- we didnt sleep a wink, we were in our van for 2 days)!
Day 2- still smiling!!!

OK here is the part where I was challenged beyond means! I had to run the hill called Ragnar - this is where I climberd 2000 ft in just 3 miles! No break, no flat roads, nothing but straight UP hill! Luckily it was so beautiful, I just wish I could had enjoyed it more but I was in serious leg pain!
Becky running in at the finish line! Here we met up with her and ran across together. It took us about 27 hours and 30 minutes to finish this race. We actually finished an hour ahead of schedule. Waiting at the finish line - it started pouring down rain right when we crossed.
Great weekend! Can't wait until next year!

5 years and counting

5 years ago today Ammon and I were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Ammon and I met about 7 years ago through a mutual friend and I can honestly say I married my best friend. We didn't start dating right away, we became friends and got to know one another. About 6 months later we started dating, dated for 6 months and than got engaged and were engaged for 3 months. I think and feel like I have a fairytale proposal. On March 6th Ammon took me up the canyon for a drive. It had just snowed, so we parked the car and got out and started to walk around to enjoy the scenery. A ways off Ammon "noticed" something and said, " I wonder what that is over there, lets go see." As we got closer, I noticed that it was a blanket right next to a stream and covering the blanket were thousands of beautiful vibrant colors of rose petals. I am talking about blues, purples, oranges, pinks... absolutely breath taking. They were all over the snow and down in the stream, just everywhere! In the middle of the blanket were a dozen red roses. Ammon than got down on one knee and proposed. It was so sweet! Of course I said YES (what kind of fool would pass up a man like Ammon? :) ) and than we went and had a very romantic dinner up in Sundance. Just perfect! I love to say that I married my best friend! He is such a great guy and I love him so much! Below are some pictures from our wedding and some fun ones we took when we were taking our engagement pictures. I had to scan them, so sorry if they are blurry.

Disneyland

We had such an awesome time in Disneyland! I seriously can not wait to go back!!! I loved everything about it! The fireworks at night were incredible and Izzy loved how the castle would light up! Such a magical place! I don't think it matters your age, Disneyland is the best place to be! Izabella and Abbie on the buzz light year ride.

Ezra's first ride -Pirates of the Caribbean

Ezra and Daddy on buzz light year

We had the privilege to meet up with my good friend Shannon and her cute family! We had a blast hanging out with them for the day!

I seriously LOVED LOVED LOVED the parades! They are just so fun!

Andrew, Izzy, and Maddie

Daddy and Ezra watching the parade

You can't go to Disneyland and not ride the tea cups now can you?

Ezra was such a good baby and made our experience there so much easier! I was scared taking such a little baby there but he was perfect as always!

Izzy has no fear and loved the roller coasters! She was barely tall enough so I would have her wear her taller shoes so she could get on. She was so brave and would wave her hands in the air the whole ride!

Outside California Adventure on our first day! Such a great and much needed vacation! Sad we had to say goodbye but look forward to when we can go to the happiest place on earth again!

Disneyland's characters

Izabella meeting some of her favorite characters!

We went to a breakfast where they had the characters coming around to meet all the kids! It was so fun to watch how exited all the little ones would get!

Izzy waiting so patiently to see Mickey Mouse.

She was so funny, she loved seeing them and would get so exited but she never wanted to get too close to them! Here she is finally getting brave, look at her hand! :)

She was super shy when she saw Tinkerbell but right after we left she got way exited and kept saying, "I just saw Tinkerbell, I just saw Tinkerbell!"

Dodger Game

My pops is a HUGE Dodger fan! So we hit up a game while we were in LA! It was so fun and Izabella had a blast! She loved all the music they would play and how noisy we would all get! Also she is a lot like her mommy and LOVED all the yummy food you can get at games!

San Diego

You can't make a trip to Cali and not visit the Ocean! It was a little cold there but that didn't stop the kiddos from jumping in their swimsuits and getting wet! Oh to be a kid again!

Izzy with some of her cousins

What's more perfect than getting a good nap on the beach?

Look out! That wave is going to get you!!!

Ezra didn't like how cold the water was!

Splish Splash

Great day well spent! I just think we brought half the sand home with us!!!!
